Some of the focused activities which help a student to make their career graph are one of the priorities as set by the Grooming and Career Services department in KEI.

Map Out a Career Plan – All students are assisted with the technical & the psychological thinking to understand the corporate culture as prevalent in India & abroad. During their second year of the course, apart from their regular classes, events, workshops, industry linkage & on-job training are organized to assist them to groom up their profile as per the standard requirement.

Job & Internship Search Tools – All students are encouraged to explore general and industry-specific job and internship resources through the links as assisted by professionals at KEI. An effective way of creating awareness about the companies among the students in the form of company brochures, pamphlets or other published information.

Career Tools & Assessments – Career assessments are tools designed to help individuals understand how personal attributes (e.g. interests, values, skills, preferences, motivations, and strengths) impact their potential success and satisfaction with different career options and work environments.

Encouraging our student to work with Grooming and Career Services Team early and often during each academic year (for resume reviews, cover letter writing, practice interviews, networking resources, employer relationships, job and internship opportunities, researching industries and professions and a variety of other things)

* Supporting networking and relationship building.

* Asking our student about updating their resume and cover letter regularly (at a minimum, at the beginning of each academic year).

* Encouraging our student to get involved in extracurricular activities outside the classroom, to develop leadership and other important skills.

Employers are encouraged to get in touch with our Placement cell to recruit the students from the campus. We invite recruiters in the last semester of the course approximately in December/January every year.


COURT VISIT - KLC organizes workshops and court visits in order to fetch the students with a solid base of their discipline concerned. Visiting the courts is one of the most important things that aspiring solicitors and barristers can do. Court visiting and observing the flow of cases develop the understanding of the matters of the procedure involved in cases and how these influence the outcome of a case.


INTERNSHIP - Internships not only help students build their practical skill set, but they also help students land a permanent role by building new-grad experience. Employers in all sectors seek for that candidate experience in the industry. It is a very important factor in hiring decisions, having that role on the student’s resume really make a difference and help give the student an edge over other new graduates. Internship helps the student in learning more about the field, as well as their personal strengths and weaknesses. They get the opportunity to apply the knowledge that they learned in the classroom to real-life business situations, as well as develop new skills that will allow them to be successful in a business career.


INDUSTRIAL VISIT - KEI provides enormous visits to the industry which bridges the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment. The students obtain opportunities for active/interactive learning experiences in-class as well outside the classroom environment. With industry visits, students are able to better identify their prospective areas of work in the overall organizational function and helps to enhance interpersonal skills and communication techniques. Students become more aware of industry practices and regulations during industry visits. Industry visits broaden the outlook of students with exposure to different workforces from different industries.
