Internships not only help students build their practical skill set, but they also help students land a permanent role by building new-grad experience. Employers in all sectors seek for that candidate experience in the industry. It is a very important factor in hiring decisions, having that role on the student’s resume really make a difference and help give the student an edge over other new grads.
