The Diploma in Dialysis Technology program at Kingston College of Science (KCS) is designed to equip students with the technical skills and clinical knowledge required to operate dialysis machines and assist patients with renal failure in undergoing hemodialysis. This specialized program offers practical training and hands-on experience through internships at our own hospital, Kingston General Hospital, where students will gain real-world exposure to the dialysis process, patient care, and medical equipment operation in a clinical setting.

The course duration for students with a 12th Science background is 2 years, and for students with 10th or 12th in Arts/Commerce, the duration is 3 years. The curriculum focuses on the operation of dialysis machines, monitoring vital signs, patient safety during dialysis procedures, and emergency care. Students will also learn about renal anatomy and physiology, dialysis techniques, and post-dialysis care, ensuring they are well-prepared to assist healthcare professionals in providing effective renal care.
