The department of Computer Science runs 3 years full time BCA (UG) courses under the affiliation of West Bengal State University, which provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge with equal emphasis. With in-depth coverage of programming languages like Java, Python, PHP, shell scripting, R programming and subjects like Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics the course provides a strong foundation in the domain of IT.

Eligibility

  • A Candidate for being eligible for admission to Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) shall have passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized education Board or its equivalent from India or abroad.
  • The Candidate must have Maths/Computer as an allied subject in 10+2 exam.

Career Opportunities

After the successful completion of the program, a student should be able to get entry level job in the field of Information Technology or ITES.

BCA graduates can also start their career as programmers and rise to that of senior programmers.
